Team Player = mega XP

I'm on 5th prestige and I've decided to become a little less selfish and play more for the team. I mainly play Ground War

Current setup:

Whatever gun I'm doing challenges for
Stinger
Whatever equipment
Smoke
Scavenger
Cold Blooded
Commando/Ninja

Killstreaks:

UAV
Care Package
Emergency Airdrop

I'm getting a huge amount of points by a) shooting down anything the enemy puts in the sky and b) letting other people grab my packages.

I played Domination on Afghan today and shot down 7 harriers, a couple of Chopper Gunners and multiple UAV/Counter UAVs. Along with share package points I finished the game with over 10,000 XP without completing any challenges...

sounds good, my team mates can pick up my emergency packages as well.
I only want to have the best out of them (AC-130, Pave Low...) but the rest they can share...but most of the time i´m getting crap care packages, so even my team mates want to pick up them :sad: I may give em a try to shoot down everything what´s in the air. Never tried it really, only sometimes when no one from my team was trying to shoot down what´s in the air...

Definitely try the Stingers. With Scavenger Pro you don't really need a secondary to kill people and you do your team a massive favour by shooting down enemy air support.

I love shooting down Chopper Gunners before they even get a chance to start firing. He he he Smile

yea Chopper Gunners are getting annoying, especially when i see he is on a streak to get a nuke and no one is trying to shoot em down (including me...)

lol they should has that in mw2 u could shoot as many stingers as you want and it wont blow up.

This is really interesting. I have never been the person to shoot down air support, and it sure as hell pisses me off getting shot by the same chopper gunner or AC130 over and over again.

This is very true. I have been doing this since I unlocked the stinger. I dont get nuked either. This strategy really does work well to defend the nuke. I will say I have never tryed it with scavenger I will have to try it.

Yeah that's pretty much one of the best and easier ways to earn XP instead of just trying to complete gun challenges, also if you want to get about 10k+ XP a game play S&D if you get really good at it you can usually average above 10k XP.

I get a lot of XP in Search. I'm good at it, so that's probably why - the more kills you get, the bigger your match bonus, the more XP you get, so yeah...

But once I got 30k XP in a match of Headquarters. I was running a similar setup to the one you have, but I obviously got some challenges in the mix there.

Headquarters is definitely a good one to get XP from if you can stay alive after you capture the HQ me I always die as soon as I get it from either a random grenade or a noob tube.

I usually use the same killstreak setup except im a little more selfish with the Emergency Airdrop. I pickup everything and use them to get points (Apart from ammo).

The first time I got an airdrop i managed to get (by pure luck) a Pave Low, Predator Missile, AC130 and an Attack Helicopter. Pretty cool huh?

Your team must have sucked if you allowed them to get 7 harriers, a couple of Chopper Gunners and multiple UAV/Counter UAV.

I've given up on Emergency Airdrop. It's only good in a couple of maps, but I always run UAV for my team.

I'm a little bit on the crazy side, but no one EVER uses the precision airstrike. I love it, covers the whole map on small maps and you can target it through alleyways where the other team is camping.

One time I killed the WHOLE enemy team twice with one airstrike. Then, I use pavelow then chopper gunner.

Precision airstrike is too inconsistent. The 5 kill non-precision airstrike in COD4 and artillery in WaW yielded me more kills than the PA. The only good memory I have of the precision airstrike was when I got one in a care package on Wasteland and killed the entire 6 people of the other team and unlocked Carpet Bomb or something... I was using Danger Close Pro, though.

The PA is probably the one of the least used killstreak rewards on MW2 since you can get an airstrike with a harrier at the end of it which gets even more kills so they kind of messed up on that part of the airstrikes.
