BFBC 2 over powered guns

For those who have played the bfbc 2 game is there and gun you find to be over powered? I have to say the xm8 seems a bit over powered.

You should try it on hardcore, all the guns are overpowered LOLOLOL, but ya thats the only way I play BFBC2, Hardcore Rush FTW

Lol i was playing hardcore and i didnt even notice but sniping is alot better on hardcore everything is one hit

The LMGs are known to be a bit OP on the hip fire side... Sometimes literally one/two bullets can take you out. I'm pretty sure (hopefully is more like it) that DICE will fix that...

there is not that much to complain about BF:BC2...
the SMG´s are a little bit to powerfull, and they have to much range.

The range on the SMGs is WAY overpowered. I can hit and kill someone from C to the farmhouse at A on Valparaiso with 3-4 rounds. If thats not overpowered then idk what is.

yea i know, i wanted to say it a little bit ironically...also it can not be, that you need 2-3 shots with a Sniper rifle to kill one (no headshot...) !? that´s the same BS like in the CoD series.

yeah I haven't played much but the accuracy and power of the SMG's is crazy. I also agree that the XM8 is overpowered. I haven't played any of the HC on it yet though as I'm trying to get a good feel for the game before diving into the HC. anyone play HC on BF that also does/did on MW2? is it about the same in a sense of damage taken? I was also wondering if you regenerate health in HC modes.

I only play HC on BFBC2, so I can tell you all about it! The comparison of MW2's HC to BFBC2's hardcore is very similar, you will get I believe 1-2 hit markers before a kill if you are shooting at limbs, but if you shoot at the chest or above its 1 shot 1 kill, snipers are virtually 1 shot 1 kill anywhere in hardcore, tho it may require two hits if you hit a limb first. The HUD is gone, no mini map, but you still have the "scoreboard" in the bottom left hand corner of the screen (showing the remaining lives of the attacking team). No ammo count and no aim markers for a few of the tanks and grenade launchers, just like in MW2.

You generally do not regain health in HC, but if you have a Medic teammate with med packs, then you can regain health.

Oh yeah, and when you have taken a shot or two and didnt die, or was too close to an explosion and didnt die, your screen will be red and somewhat blurred until either you die or you get a med pack.

thank you for the general rundown kingchris20. I can definitely see myself playing some HC at some point. I'm a huge fan of HC on the CoD games and that's what I play about 98% of the time now.

Haven't played it to fully understand how powerful the guns are but dont rlly wanna.
