3rd an 1st Person View.

Back on COD4 I was a huge team tactical fan I loved small team based games. But now it has been turned into 3rd person which I hate that view. One thing I would like to see is regualer 1st person team tactical again. Anyways that's just me I'm not sure if and how many of you here actually like 3rd person type game modes, but which do you prefer ?

yep same here -> 3rd person view is why I never played team tactical on MW2.
I prefer 1st person view, and I don´t like 3rd person games.

3rd person was the dumbest thing ever to be included in a top 1st person game like COD.

Even if it was done by Treyarch... 3rd person view is a no-no. Just a waste of playlist space which Infinity Ward seems to not have at the moment apparently.

I think 3rd person is fun but I also think it should be left to deathmatchonly as guarding key points is too easy on 3rd person and I like team tact a lot better on 1st person.

Yeah true, but I wish they would add a regular team tactical mode in 1st person because some of these larger based team games can get old if your having an off day and you just need something a little easier like a 4v4.

I've use to like third person view better, but over the recent years, and playing more and more first person view games, I think I'm okay with both.

I hate 3rd person mainly becausse of the limited zoom,I only like it if i am sniping!

They added normal team tact along side 3rd person team tact to the xbox 360, so I don't really play 3rd person that much anymore.

I'm listing both the good and bad things about 3rd and 1st person here.

3rd person pros
-Bigger view- You have a much wider view and can even see a person directly behind you.
-No sights needed- You can play useing iron sights since you don't look down the barrel of the gun.
-No muzzle flash- It doesn't get in they way of your view.
-Harder to use three burst weapons- This may be just me though for I hat those guns.

3rd person cons
-fmj campers- A person hiding behind a wall uesing fmj while looking around wall with 3rd person to gain easy kills.
-Quick scoping easier- Put an acog on a sniper with slieght of hand pro, third person view makes it too easy.
-Rifle Grenaders/Rocketers- due to the view they can spot you over a small hill and angle it to fire and hit easily or pop up for a single shot before ducking. Works around corners too.
-Shotguncommando Camping- same as fmj but pops out to shoot/stab then hides again.
-Camera angles bad in small hallways- going into small places can make in hard to see and move around, same happens if backed into a corner.

1st person pros
-Fmj campers useually miss- when they can't see to well it helps.
-Easier to kill campers- I don't die as much by them in first person.
-Easy close ranged kills- In third person it can be hard to aim accuarte guns at close range making the knife a good defence but in first person it becomes much easier.

1st person cons
-You need a sight- Unless your good enough you'll most likely e limiting your attatchmentss to a red dot sight.
-Can't see claymores as easy- With the bigger view on third person its quite easy to prevent being killed, I never see them coming on first person.

The only gun I suck at using the iron sights with is the M16, I don't like the set up its bulky but yet small, even though I'm more of a sniper these days with my intervention or barret depends on what mood I'm in as to which gun I use. But ya 3rd person is cheap for looking around corners and stuff and a sniper with an ACOG is freaking dead on that's kinda why I like first person because sniping with an ACOG is no where near as accurate. They probably won't but I wish they would just add a 1st person team tactical I went back to CoD4 for a little bit yesterday to play it and it was fun, but very easy because I still remember the most traveled routes so all you have to do is chuck a grenade and you'll get like 3 kills...
