Mine sucks... I only lag when someone else is watching shows or movies on Hulu. I need a better router.

LAG... I almost always lag, I mean I have my days where I don't lag and I do lag as soon as I start major lagging, I automatically turn off my xbox 360. Especially zombies.

I have a pretty bad connection...

It doesn't effect me while gaming though. I have it set so my computers don't reserve any bandwidth and I have a gaming router so I'm set. Whenever I get host every is 3/4 bars so... yeah.

Below 2mb speeds I believe are the only connections that will make you lag when playing. Otherwise anything above is fine, except if you are hosting..if you are hosting a large game with lot's of players especially, you will need a sizeable upload speed I believe.

Personally myself I have 6mb download and something like 320kb upload which is terrible, so I never host. Getting a new connection soon though. Smile

I don't even want to show mine because it's such a bad connection on this computer. We have a very fast connection but this computer is old and runs so slow so it affects the connection speed. If I could do it on another computer it would be much much faster.

I tested my Internet speed by using the http://www.ip-details.com/internet-speed-test/.
My speed test results are,
7.02 Mbps when downloading,
2.86 Mbps when uploading..

Same goes for here bro about the connection. Except for the old computer part. Very Happy
I get 6 Mbps cable service. When I do tests on various sites it comes up on average as 1 - 2 Mbps! Now granted.. my PC is going through 2 switches the router and THEN the modem. I tried it directly plugged in and I got something crazy like 20 Mbps download. Suspect

But yeah.. I went from 3 Mbps DSL to 6 Mbps cable. And after my $19.99 a month deal is up (6 months) I'm gonna upgrade it to 8 Mbps.
Hopefully my area gets upgraded to faster speeds. I've always wanted to have 50+ Mbps speed. haha
500MB in 1 minute is sick!

I dislike Speedtest.net. They never show my real connection. I just tested it at SpeedTest and it said my download speed was around 3 MB. Which is so wrong. I then tested it with the program provided by my Internet provider and it showed the true speed.

I pay for a 12 MB connection and get 11.7ishDL and 2MB upload running wireless to my laptop. And around 11.9 DL and 2 upload plugged directly into my PC.

My closest server kept having an error when it was trying to download the file. However, here are the next closest servers.
