Our bio reads "Bringing Call of Duty news and player chat to Twitter", and our new feature focuses on the latter part of that mantra.

Enter @LetsPlayCoD. This new feature allows you to easily put out a call for CoD teammates via Twitter. The only thing required of you is to include the "#wpcparty" hashtag in your tweet when searching for teammates. LetsPlayCoD will then automatically pick up your tweet and RT that message for all to see. Remember to leave room for LetsPlayCoD to RT your message. If not, you will be automatically @ replied notifying you how many characters your tweet was over the 140 character limit.

Simple enough. Right? Now I must warn you that when this feature catches wind and is being used by the WePlayCoD community, it may be seen as "spammy" due to your fellow CoD players frequently searching for teammates. That's the idea though. If you do not wish to see every tweet that is looking for teammates, you can simply bookmark @LetsPlayCoD on Twitter instead of actually following.

As expected, some may wish to abuse this tool. Never fear, we have the tools to prevent multiple spam tweets and even ban users from using the feature completely upon abuse. We also hope to eventually completely prevent any type of spam, but that's a bit trickier. Keep in mind that the #wpcparty hashtag is to only be used when searching for teammates. Please do not abuse it.

With Twitter now on the 360, many of you will now be able to put out the call for teammates by using the #wpcparty hashtag and have players join you within minutes without having to leave the comfort of your console. This is a tool for all Call of Duty players and we encourage you all to give it a try if you're up for meeting some new people.

With that out of the way, let's do a step by step tutorial on how to find other Call of Duty players to party up with on Twitter.

1) Include the #wpcparty hashtag in your tweet when searching for players. Remember to include what title you're playing (e.g. #MW2, #CoDWaW), your platform (e.g. PC, 360, PS3) along with your gamertag/PSN ID/etc if you wish to be directly contacted on your console.

Example- "Looking for #MW2 players for CTF. Message 'WePlayCoD' on the 360 #wpcparty"

2) Sit back and wait to party up with other friendly Call of Duty players.

Yes, it's a very nice feature indeed. Users no longer have to wait for WPC to RT their request. Also leaves WPC free to do other projects?!

After a couple weeks of downtime for the LetsPlayCoD Party App, we're now back online and ready to help you all find some teammates, clans, etc.

Simply tweet #wpcparty with your party/clan/gaming details to participate. Remember to leave enough room for @LetsPlayCoD to retweet your message.
