Call Signs : Titles and Emblems Under Avatar

What do you all think about being awarded call signs for under your avatars, seen here,

I am just curious about what everyone thinks about it. With good feedback we will determine a method of distributing these call signs and emblems. Perhaps set up a list of challenges to complete.

I would assume you can have multiple titles and emblems however perhaps a limit of 5 is enough. This would be added and changed via an admin or moderator so you would have to contact one of us or start a call signs: titles and emblems thread for requests and changes.

So far the ideas have been to award them for certain ''forum achievements'', or we can just have a set amount that you will be able to choose from in your user profile.

You can base them off of rank, prestige, user groups, etc. That way it encourages more participation. Just a thought.

I like the idea. It sounds fun, actually. Plus, it'd give an incentive to use the forums. I love unlocking stuff, even if it serves no purpose, so this is definitely something I'd like to do.

To piggy Back off of what law said

We could open up a Market catogory in the forum, and the booths and shops can be run by anyone. And the shops can charge people points to make a sig or by a title. ANd to get points, you go to a "booth" like a trivia booth or name that gun ect.

We can completely re-work the rankings and actually create ranks similar to those in MW2.

Ranking up would then unlock new Callsign Titles. I think we'd also still be able to award 'exclusive' Callsign Titles for various things as well.

Keep the ideas coming and we'll probably decide on something over the next few days.

I went ahead and added a few Callsigns and opened them up for you guys and girls. Simply edit your profile and you'll see what you have to choose from.

While we can't have every single Callsign Title available, I am open to suggestions on which Titles should be added next, as well as feedback and suggestions on this current setup.

Btw, the Commander title has been reserved for admins. If any of you in our groups (ShePlayCoD, Weapons Specialists, Graphics Specialists, or Moderators) have a certain Title in mind, let me know and I can add those as your "special" icon that will take the place of your rank icon.

That would be awesome - Emblems on the right side of the Callsigns would be great also if possible... Smile

That would be awesome - Emblems on the right side of the Callsigns would be great also if possible...

The thing with that is that you'd be stuck with a certain Callsign at each rank. Not everyone likes the same Callsign titles, so some may really like the title unlocked at Lieutenant while another user may hate it.

With that said, I decided to just give you a list to choose from. I am still working on how to go about awarding certain users with certain titles though, but for now, you'll just have a list to choose from.

I was thinking you could use the Emblems as rewards on the forums, like reaching "X" amount of posts and so on.

I can certainly do that, but remember that you'll be stuck with that emblem until you rank up again.

That's okay, but I was thinking maybe getting more at a time, for like being a helpful poster or other little things like that. But the other thing could work out to.
