I bought it. My honest opinion, NO. It really lacks the polish of the original PC game IMO. Plus, the lack of a Brightness control setting really made it hard for me to see on the night time levels. The controls also seem a bit wonky.

Unless you're a huge CoD fan (who loves anything and everything CoD!), I would say no. It is fun especially just to reminisce about how games were made back then, but the controls are definitely "wonky" as DitkaKenobi said, but that's just cause it is an older game. There is also multiplayer! I tried it a couple times and laughed out loud many times just because it took me a while to get used to playing it and the movements are so linear like. Like I said, it's an older game, it's not meant to outdo any shooters that are out now, it's just to commend how successful this game was when it released.

I got it just for the trophies. So, if your a trophy or a achievement whore then i say yes. this is the hardest game i have played in my life. Vet is really challenging but i have to do 3 more levels and i'm done with it. Also trophies/achievements don't stack, so you will have to play vet, hard, and normal again if you want all the trophies and achievements.

I downloaded the Trial Game, and I actually really enjoyed it. I was annoyed with MW2 when I downloaded it, and I found it a somewhat 'different' experience. I didn't choose to go through it on Veteran, but I might do that sometime.

The controls aren't bad IMO - in fact, it feels a lot like the earlier games in the Medal of Honor series, which is no bad thing. Plus, Infinity Ward is made up of people behind Medal of Honor, so it's understandable too.

I'd get it also but at the moment I sadly don't even own a 360 or ps3. I've been stuck to visiting my brother and getting a few hours of gaming in the past year, it sucks. The campaign is pretty fun though, I've been messing around on the PC version lately.
