Call of Duty 7 Set for October Release? Empty Call of Duty 7 Set for October Release?

GAME, the UK console retailers have passed on details of their release schedule to VG247 that lists when major titles are due out in store this year. Call of Duty 7, DJ Hero 2 and even an unannounced James Bond Racing title have been set for an October release.

Now I know this is not definitive nor has Activision/Treyarch made any official announcements but just scrounging up any info on COD7 just excites me... The October release obviously is just mere placeholder date and I'm sure they will continue their traditional November release but hopefully a beta is present and available by October. God I hope so... I'm really stoked for this title simply because the location and placement is obviously going to be a theater we've never seen in a COD game before.

You're right that this is a "placeholder" or tentative release date. I'm with you though, any mention of CoD7 that I can see brings my excitement level up.

I've heard the name is Call of Duty 7: Black Ops, made by Treyarch, set for November release, between WWII and modern day (Cold War, Vietnam, Desert Storm?) and that's all I have to say about that.

Hmmm.......Desert Storm sounds interesting, but if I was betting I would put all my chips on Vietnam. And I am also pretty certain that TA will have a beta, and generally learn a great deal from the mistakes of IW.
