What you don't like about MW2

Besides the obvious issues such as party chat...I think online stat tracking would be beneficial to a lot of players.
Overall the weapons are decently balanced, some are obviously much more powerful up close (akimbo shotguns) and some are more effective mid-long range (assault/sniper). I miss the powerful snipers that were apart of previous CoD games, there is no PTR-S or M40A3. So far I haven't really been in too many situations where an SMG would be effective, besides Rust. Maybe if there were a few maps similar to Dome in WaW the SMGs would be more useful.

I don't like how they overpowered the FAMAS, its just like the MP40, but burst shot.

Unlocking the final weapon on the last level before prestige sucks a bit, IMO.

The AK-47 unlocks at level 70, so you only get to use it for one level if you're prestiging.

It was the same on W@W with the M1A1.

It just seems a shame to have worked towards these weapons for so long, and then have to stop prestiging in order to keep using them for a while.

I think it would be better if you unlocked the last weapon, say, five levels before prestige.

I dont like some of the maps. In W@W and cod4 they had some bad maps but they were playable,but these ones just succk

When you get an emergency airdrop everyone else in your team seems to go straight for them

4 crates and you get about 1

The spawns are absolutely HORRIBLE in this game, actually worst then WaW when it released.

I'm kind of with you there... when you spawn sometimes someone will spawn right behind you or in-front of you instead of away from you. :/

I was playing this morning and popped smoke to get a care package and some tard on my team decided he was going to try to steal it from me. He stood right on the smoke. I told him to move away from the smoke but he insisted that he was going to take my care package. He took it alright, .....right to the head. Everyone laughed at him, he left the game. /funny MW2 moment

I'm very unhappy with the amount of camping that takes place in this game... Esp. on maps like karachi or whatever that were made for camping... You can only counter this stuff for so long, until the point where you get frustrated and quit, or end up camping yourself... Matches such as these give me a reason to not be cheerful

What's one thing you don't like about the game, or something you wish you could alter?

I wish the Party Chat capabilities were allowed for every playlist in multiplayer on the 360, and I wish the Campaign had pushed out another 3-5 hours.

For real? COD4's maps were tiny, cramped, and laid out very badly IMO. While MW2's maps still have their issues, they're most definitely a step up in my book. However, WaW still has the best MP maps overall IMO.

Why don't you like the care packages? They give you a higher killstreak reward.

It's hard for some people to get over and use to new additions of the game such as this. I personally have no problem with care packages. If you have that reward selected then sure you may get a higher killstreak. If you don't select it, then you have 2 certain rewards that can actually work towards the chopper, ac-130, emp and nuke..

S&D one kill = 50 score, time respawn 1~3 mins
TDM one kll = 100 score, time respawn instant...

I think theres a BIG difference between TDM players and S&D players...
just... not fair...

I would go with the thermal scope. Too many folks are starting to unlock this and sit in grass in a corner and just scope in all the time sweeping back and forth with some crappy little gun they would otherwise not be able to use very well.

I think they actually made the game types more closely pointed with this system. I used to be a S&D whore in order to get more points. Now I can get the same amount of points playing S&D or TDM. Possibly more playing TDM just because of all of the reward type XP bonuses.

Yeah my fave is HC HQ just geting over 60 kills per game rocks imo

IMO, there's a lot fewer things to dislike about this game than there are about CoD4 or WaW .... of course, that's just my opinion. I'm also mostly a TDM kind of guy.

In CoD4, I get frustrated with the small maps; in WaW, the maps were, on the whole, larger, which minimized spawn camping and gave you at least 2 exits for almost any bad situation. MW2 is sort of a middle ground, and I think it works well.

However, given the larger scale of the MW2 maps, SMGs are much less useful. Other than the P90, I've yet to find an SMG that's versatile enough to be very useful. Perhaps if I played other game modes more often this would change? The assault rifles all fire quickly, are powerful enough to be effective in close quarters, and have limited recoil -- what's the point of an SMG then?

My only other gripe would be that there's a lot of camping. Obviously, this depends on who you're playing with/against, but there doesn't seem to be much room for run and gun players in this game. Perhaps it's the map sizes; perhaps it's that SMGs just aren't that versatile; perhaps I've just played against a lot of campy players. But whatever the case is, people are just too dang campy for my tastes.

I mean, it's one thing to hold/defend a position on the map from a tactical standpoint; it's another to hide in the weeds with a thermal scope+silencer+cold-blooded and wait for people to run by. (For the record, something like the latter would be what I mean by camping). For whatever reason, there's a whole lot of that happening in TDM thus far.

One more thing in response to others: I LOVE the sniper rifles in this game. I've never been an effective sniper in any game, but in this game, I've got a fighting chance with the WA2000, either with thermal, FMJ, or silencer. Couple that with akimbo Rangers, and I've been having a darn good time sniping.

Vector is a good SMG, and the MP5K seems more balanced (ie good but poo sometimes), try the Vector if you want a good SMG.

Ya, the maps are poo. They are better in a way, but honestly do you enjoy going from building to building to building to building to building? Serious gay maps...
