Why don't you like the care packages? They give you a higher killstreak reward.

On one of the loading screens the Intel tells you that the care package Killstreak rewards do not count towards your killstreak!

I hate stopping power, this really does my head in, previous games they had jugg to counter but they took that out and left it in, they should have taken both out, I never used either.

thats why you have the mute button. I dont like how they dont have lobby leaderboards or gametype leaderboards as they did in WaW. I dont like how you cant back out as a whole party or the fact that if you get team killed, accident or not, that you get a death for it. Camping is pretty bad but this isnt cod 4 where you could run and gun like crazy. Watching your corners has become a must in this game.

No truly, Score leaderboards are screwed now with that TDM higher kill scores...

i thought you could back out and stay in party as long as the party leader backed out first

The UMPD is an amazing smg. The power and accuracy is the way forward

Its these small little things that piss me off..... And I think to myself how did they not add/fix this...esp when WaW had it!!!

ok so SMGs are not used as often as in Cod4 because there is really no point to it because all of the maps are bigger. exceptions are maps like favela and karachi if you stay more on the streets. and stopping power should be taken out so you dont have to waste a perk just so you can get the kill

It's hard for some people to get over and use to new additions of the game such as this. I personally have no problem with care packages. If you have that reward selected then sure you may get a higher killstreak. If you don't select it, then you have 2 certain rewards that can actually work towards the chopper, ac-130, emp and nuke..

its just frustrating sometimes

this has happened quite often (to me anyway)

my team is winning, not by a lot but by a decent amount, then the other team gets a care package and suddenly an ac130 is above us raining down fiery hell and the other team ends up winning by a couple points

My most recent map this happened on was on Afghan
I was safe in the cave at the time the ac130 started, but then got killed by an enemy, switched to my Anti-Air class (cold blooded and stinger usually) then when I went for a lock on, the ac130 deployed 4 flares in a row (most people say it will only deploy 2...) I had a javelin at the time and it wouldn't even lock on to it, lol

I wouldn't mind so much if care packages, at the most, gave you a Pave Low, but to get an AC130 after only 4 kills, seems a tad ridiculous imo, which is why I have been recently trying to shoot down the choppers b4 they even drop the care package, which is actually pretty satisfying when you do it, lol

Yeah, I honestly think it would be better for the game if AC-130 and chopper gun were also excluded from care packages but..... The situation you explained has happened to me several times too but I guess everyone has the opportunity to either select care packages or an ac-130/chopp gunner, so it's fair in a way just unlucky if you lose because of someone getting one late in the game.

you can get a nuke from a care package i think because my friend was nuked in a game and no one on the other team even had 25+ kills. so either that or they were modding or something

The highest killstreak reward from care packages is an EMP. Either they were modding or had hardline and 24 kills or you need your eye sight checked

My number one complaint is Connection issues. Everyone can be running green but the game still has some terrible connection issues. Also kill cams just take up space in the game. 90% of the time they never show what really happened because of the connection problems.

Yesterday was the first day that I suffered from serious connection issues.

In the first few weeks, I've been able to find 4-bar lobbies without any issues.

Last night, I played for over two hours and never got into a lobby with more than 3 bars (and had several two bar games).

I checked my internet via speedtest.net -- 10 MBs download / 2 MBs upload. So I know it ain't me.

IMO, consistent lag crippled WaW's multiplayer, at least for me. I'm hoping the first few weeks were the rule and not the exception and that last night was an aberration.

One last thing about connectivity: My experience has been that when I'm in a party of four or more friends, one of us tends to get selected as the host, and so at the very least all four of us have four bars; when I'm playing solo, that's when I have the most connectivity issues.

I wonder if there's something in the code that favors parties over individuals when it's seeking to find a good connection for you?

yeah it takes about five min to get in a game sometimes

Well Besides the Net code and Matchmaking are the first major complaints with the game.

I can deal with lag and can adapt and change my play style to work with it ... but in MW2 sometimes its really bad and unplayable. ( i Have a 20 up and 20 down connection at my house )

Second issues is how the objective game modes which I like the most have been ruined by Kill Streaks - and really they should not be in those modes ( especially the one spawn game modes - but thats my opinion.

Third: They have changed the dynamic of the COD series for me - all we have now is window campers , roof campers , thermal campers , cave campers , all for one thing and one thing only Kill Streaks ... got to get the nuke ..

So what you end up with for example people on estate in the house with either thermal scopes and or shot guns by the doors - yea real fun match or one of the city maps with everyone in a house behind doors or sitting in a corner with a thermal scope on high rize sniping you as soon as you spawn form his spawn - Yes I know most of you will give me the argument - you can counter and sometimes you can but most of the time you can't because of the stupid spawns , netcod and lag...

I can't even try to sneak around them and get them from behind - because some jackass will spawn either enemy or one of my teammates right near me and either kill me or shoot his gun and blow my cover.

They crammed all this nice and cool stuff into a well done SP , Spec Ops and MP maps - and to me it was just to much - they broke the COD Feel to the game .. I miss playing WaW ..

Yes, I've done it a few times, but then I realized whats the point.
Sure,it could raise one's K/D, but then you would look back and say, wow my k/d is totally based off of glitching.

Somebody should patch this...
