Modern Warfare 2 or Bad Company 2?

So this is a poll, which game do you prefer? Yes I know BC2 hasn't released yet but to get an overall look of it you can look trailers via Youtube. Also Wikipedia is good place to find the facts.

Well i tried BFBC2 once so i havent really given it a good try but i found it to be a little too slow paced for me. I am a big run and gunner and i found myself trying to do that in BC and then dying 5 second later. I am also not a fan of tanks and choppers.

But like i said maybe i need to give it a little more time.

None of them really b/c both games suck in some cases...
Modern Warfare 2 due to it´s many cheats/hacks and whatever, and BF:BC2 due to it´s "uncontrollable" character movement.
just my 2 cents...

I would have chose both if it was an option. I chose BFBC2 cuz i wanna play something new

I had a good experience when I played the BFBC2 Beta... so I'm going to go with BFBC2.

i love the Bad Company2 beta!!! it is awsome.. if some of you havent downloaded it then i highly suggest it. for a beta it feels very smooth and much better than the first Bad Company. sometimes the vehicles are a hassle but people have to have some skill to get a lot of kills with them and as long as you have a decent squad then vehicles arnt a big deal to destroy. I absolutly LOVE the squad idea in this game because you have multiple spawn options so there is much much less spawn killing.. Smile

and everyone loves that!
the weapons so far are awsome and there are going to be lots more in the full game. and with the beta gametype being the gold rush type, it takes a HUGE map and breaks it down into sections so it is easier to find people and not so open.

as my last statement i am going to say i like Bad Company2 sooo much more than MW2 already that im gonna sell MW2 the day BC2 comes out!! lol

Bad Company 2 just feels like a more rewarding experience to me. It takes mental effort to play a good match. Just running and making quick twitch movements to shoot someone isn't enough. Plus, every match plays out differently, thanks to the vehicles and being able to blow holes in buildings.

I was playing a match the other day where a helicopter was shooting at me and the guy next to me hit the tail with an RPG. At which point, the helicopter started spinning out of control about 15 feet above my head, went about 25 yards down the road and crashed into a building, taking out the whole side of said building while erupting in a giant fireball. You just don't get that kind of excitement in COD. We didn't even win that match, and it's still one of my favorite matches yet. It's just a fun game.

Very hard choice i love both games but they are both very different from each other mw2 has many problems and once they work everything out and finally clean the game up it will be back on top again but everyone is fed up with IW's poo and BFBC2 offers something new but compared to the first BFBC it is amazing the smoothness of MW2 blows BF out of the water but when playing BF you feel like you are in a real war but i got use to the jerky movements of BFBC and it is very fun i will def be buying it

BOTH, MW2 is great for that fast paced arcade style killing spree, it's too damn fun! BFBC2......well there is just so much to like about it and the damn full game hasn't even come out yet! I played in the beta and character movement was a bit sluggish, but they are going to fix that before release. Now I'm playing the demo on 360 until it comes out on the 11th for PS3, and this map is even better. The Apache is a blast to fly, the tanks are literally a blast and i love playing anyone of the four classes. I am really looking forward to the squad deathmatch and squad rush modes. Being a squad of four and having four classes designed to keep your teammates going just sounds like some witty battles. The medic can zap their teammates back to life with the defibs, engineers can repair teammates vehicles, assault cam keep their teammates ammo full and scouts can provide sniper support and throw "recon mines?" to show enemy locations. It is just the perfect team based wargame experience.

Modern Warfare 2.

I am sooooo used to CoD, and its looks. BFBC2 throws me off a bit. I like the gameplay in BFBC2 also. It's really a hard choice.

If this was a Call of Duty or Battlefield decision... I would easily side with CoD, being that I have been a fan from the very beginning of the Franchise and it has given me so many memorable moments.

I'm fairly new to the Battlefield series (1943 being my first, and dabbled with BFBC1 a bit after) but I have become accustomed to it rather quickly, becoming a good reliable Recon kit (sniper) player.

Yet since this is BFBC2 and MW2 then... I'll side with BFBC2.

I truly feel some irony in my decision being this is a CoD site/forums but IW dropped the ball big time unfortunately, creating something that feels alien compared to the rest of the franchise. BFBC2 refined some problem issues they had in BFBC1 and for a six week old pre beta build... the demo is pretty damn good.

By the way, just got word on Twitter that the PS3 guys here will get the demo tomorrow... a day early from the rumored Feb 4th date. Smile

I am doubting that will happen. The store is always updated on Thursday nights. For you pretty much Friday morning around 12AM. People always rumor these things with pretty much every release but in the end 99% of the time it gets released on the store update times.

Sony blows at updating their store and rarely steps outside of that Thursday at about 6pm EST standard that they love.

My opion on the OP is that BFBC1 left me with a real nasty taste in my mouth. It is a cross between Socom and COD and a bad one at that. Not for me. Best of luck to those that enjoy it though.

I couldnt agree more. Getting to battle with vehicles and destroy buildings is the thing that puts the game over the top for me. I'm not sure if I will be selling my MW2 to get BFBC2 though, I think I may keep it around to go back to once the AWESOME wears off BCBF2.

I made the mistake and got MAG -> this game sucks deep, didn´t had one game without LAG, so i really ask me what they have done, and how this is possible !? on a 128 player match I jumped 10 meter ahead and 20 meter back, it was unplayable...

I played in the mag beta and hated it, it felt like a crappy generic shooter, the idea is good, maybe mag 2 if they ever make it!
