FireFox Add-ons
Post in this thread the best Firefox add-ons that you use and can recommend to other users.
Here is a selection of my favorite add-ons:
Adblock plus 1.0.2 - Ever been annoyed by all those ads and banners on the internet that often take longer to download than everything else on the page? Install Adblock Plus now and get rid of them.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865
Cooliris 1.10 - Full-Screen 3D, Cooliris is simply the fastest and most stunning way to browse photos and videos from the Web or your desktop. Effortlessly scroll a "3D Wall" of your content from Facebook, Google Images, YouTube, Flickr, and hundreds more.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5579
FireShot 0.69 - Unlike other extensions, this plugin provides a set of editing and annotation tools, which let users quickly modify web captures and insert text annotations and graphical annotations. Such functionality will be especially useful for web designers, testers and content reviewers.
The captures can be:
- uploaded to FREE public screenshot hosting
- saved to disk (PNG, GIF, JPEG, BMP)
- printed
- copied to clipboard
- e-mailed
- sent to configurable external editor for further processing.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5648
Friendbar 2.0.9
Friendbar helps you keep in touch with your friends on Facebook and Twitter.
- View your Facebook and Twitter updates, right on Friendbar
- Post updates, retweets, direct messages, and replies, right from the toolbar
- Get a stream of your friends Facebook photos right on Friendbar
- Roll over the photos to view the original
- Click on the enlarged photo (or album name) to visit the photo or albums web page
- Get an alert when a new message arrives
- Send Twits and Facebook updates from Friendbar (separately or both together)
- Automatically create a tiny URL for the web page you are viewing
- Click on links in text updates to open the link in a new tab
- Toggle Text updates and Photos on and off
- Select different ticker scrolling styles: Fade, Slide, and no effect
- A "Quickpost" button allowing you to easily post links to pages that you find on the web
- A "Lucky Site" button that opens popular sites of the day, to provide you with interesting content to Twitter about!
- A "Pause" button when you don't want others seeing your updates
- An enlarge/minimize button that allows easy switching between regular and large modes
- Ability to select between the regular grey and a dark blue background color
- An invite button allowing you to invite your friends from Facebook
Smiley Xtra 5.0.2 - With Smiley Xtra 5, you have easy access to the hundreds of thousands of smilies available on deviantART - and the ability to insert them into your forum posts and blogs. Never again will you be confined to the boring default smilies! SO many to choose from, its cool with a lot of animated ones.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8991
Personas for Firefox 1.1 - Personas are free, easy-to-install “skins” for Firefox that make changing the look of the browser as easy as changing your shirt. With Personas, you can individualize your browser with hundreds of artist-created designs or create your own design to share with a worldwide audience of millions.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10900
Greasemonkey - Allows you to customize the way a webpage displays using small bits of JavaScript.
Hundreds of scripts, for a wide variety of popular sites, are already available at http://userscripts.org.
You can write your own scripts, too. Check out http://wiki.greasespot.net/ to get started.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748
Greasefire - Automatically find Greasemonkey scripts on Userscripts.org (requires Greasemonkey)

Re: FireFox Add-ons
Awesome post man I'll add some of these to mine but one thing I hate is that ever since the last update I have to punch in my passwords and usernames to most of the sites I visit.

Re: FireFox Add-ons
Here's the ones I use:
Clear Cache Button - Adds a clear cache toolbar button. After installing the extension, find the clear cache button in the toolbar customization panel.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1801
Download Statusbar - Despite its compact size, Download Statusbar packs in more useful features than the standard download window. The fully customizable interface auto-hides when not in use, allowing full control without interruption.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/26
SmarterFox - "SmarterFox is without a doubt among the most varied and powerful add-ons out there to enhance Firefox browsing." -- CNET.com
* Download all links, images, or media on a page in parallel, maximizing the use of your bandwidth
* Easily save page media such as Flash videos, Flash games, and Shockwave movies on any YouTube-like site to your hard-drive with right-click context menu
* Search by selecting/highlighting text and then clicking on the popup bubble
* Google results automatically show up in the Awesomebar/URL bar as you type (faster than going to google.com)
* Easily switch between search engines while searching with a single click
* "Endless Pages" automatically loads the next page when you reach the end, saving you time
* Automatically copy on select / paste on middle click / paste on right click (NOT enabled by default)
* Visit bookmarks quickly with keyboard shortcuts using qLauncher
* Convert text URLs into clickable links
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/9825
Tab Preview - Displays a small thumbnail of the contents of background tabs when you mouse over them.

I'm an Adblock Plus user as well, highly recommended!
Use Greasemonkey from your list as well.
Two staples for me are
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843 Firebug
and
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/60 Web Developer Toolbar
Oh and Image Zoom - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/139

If you listen to music while surfing the t'interwebz this is a good one.
Fire.FM
Fire.fm gives you access to the extensive music library on Last.fm. Last.fm gives free radio to the US, UK, and Germany, plus subscriber-based service to the rest of the world. Listen to your favorite music and discover new artists in the process.

Monster, I fixed your link for TwitterBar. It was originally linking to the Facebook App. Very good add-on though!
I also like PowerTwitter. Mainly cuz it adds a RT option on your Twitter page.
Re: FireFox Add-ons
TwitterFox
This addon goes on the bottom right hand corner of your firefox browser. It can update a tweet in a matter of seconds. I hope you like it!

Re: FireFox Add-ons
TwitterFox is my favorite FireFox add-on. Makes managing Twitter updates and posting tweets so easy.
I also like changing the color of my browser to fit my mood with the AnyColor add-on.

AnyColor is a great add-on. Actually prefer that to Personas now.
Here's a screenshot of my FireFox using AnyColor.
