MG42 vs. Browning - Which do you prefer and why?

I really prefer the MG42, it's more accurate, it has a fast rate of fire, and you don't need stopping power to blow through your enemies. (At least I think so Very Happy

) The only downside with the MG42 is the HUGE muzzle flash, in Makin (Night) and Nightfire I'm automatically given away because it's dark, and the muzzle flash lights up everything around me. Laughing

The Browning for me is just too slow, it's very inaccurate, and it's got too much recoil.

I find the Browning with steady aim has incredible hip fire so i prefer it Smile

MG42 definitely. I've tried both, and you really need Stopping Power or Double Tap on the Browning to make it really shine. MG42 though, you can use Camouflage or Fireworks (like my Tankbusters class) and still get kills with it.

It Nazi Zombies though, they're about tied. Ammo deficiency on the MG42 in Zombies makes it a deal breaker, ladies.

Ahem, ladies, with the MG42 in Zombies, you can reload faster because of the early reload cut-off. That is all. Laughing

By the time you have the Browning, you should also have Speed cola and should reload cancel... Ladies.

Ladies... the Browning does practically nothing to the dogs in the later dog rounds (11+). And you'll need Double Tap with the browning as well, to make it even remotely useful. And who wants to spend money on Double Tap?

Ladies should have upgraded ray gun, colt, or trench gun by the time the dogs in the later rounds come... Or at least how I play.

PaP'd STG-44 is sort of in my top 3 favorites. That peace of mind that I'll never have to worry about getting a max ammo or teleporting until getting one is the reason.

I've never done that. I know it's fully automatic, but Call of Duty Wikia told me not to, so I never tried it.
