Does MW2 have leaderboards like COD4??

Sorry for such a dumb question but i dont have the game YET!!... and i am sooo anxious and excited for MW2 but also was wondering if they reset ALL ranks or if they kept thier promise and didnt reset ALL ranks and only reset ppl who got it illegaly or somehow.

And can everyone give me thier opinion on the game online and campaign (or whichever one you played if you didnt do 1 just tell me about the other one!) Thanks

Depends on which promise. Their first promise was a FULL reset of the leaderboards. Second promise was just the illegitimate copies got reset. I do know the first promise was not kept.

I've only played MP so far, and it's amazing. I actually didn't care for COD4 (yeah, I know. I'm a minority) so I was afraid it would be too much like it and I'd be disappointed. It's just different enough. You still have your major campers (I don't mean snipers...campers.....with smg's.....who don't move), but not nearly as bad as COD4. That game was horrible with all the camping, IMO. The killstreak unlocks/rewards are sweet. Lots of variety, and I can now see the Tactical Nuke being more common than previously thought (if you set your streaks up right). Oh, and there's SO MUCH to unlock!! It never ends! I'm constantly changing around my classes to work on different weapons/perks challenges.

I haven't played SP yet, so I can't comment on that.

They didn't reset the ranks, but I honestly haven't played anyone over level 30 yet. I'm level 18. I think it does a great job of putting you with people who are similar rank. Nothing to worry about there IMO. Multiplayer is great, can't stop playing it.

singe player rocks. its THAT. ive gotten up to some country goes fukin invades usa :d its fukin awesome. u should be able to pwn em. its ur home turf. pffff. we suck >.>

My 2nd or 3rd match we had 2 guys over 35 in. I was at most a 3 or 4. Now I'm already up to 25 and have noticed it's pretty much evened itself out.

My actual lvl is 46, i'll go school to a 1 hr class and came back for another 5hrs of MW2....

about the leaderboards...

they fudge them a little...

S&D give like 500 score prom...
TDM give like 10 times more than in COD4...
Demolition gives a fudge lot...

And the times for the score are unbalanced...
if you play 7 rounds of S&D lets say you get 650 score... in like 15~20 mins
one TDM you get like 1500 and you play 10 mins?
and in Demolition is like 2000 in 10 mins too...

The exp is another topic...
S&D gives you good exp, but not score...
