TIPs, TRICKs, STRATs and SET UPs

JUst share your tips, tricks, strats and/or set ups.

Tips, if you are going to use the riot shield, also use a blast shield.

Set Ups.

Scar, Extended Mags, Scavenger/Stopping Power or Hardline/Steady Aim or Scramble.

Here's a few tips that I follow off of the top of my head....

- Never stay in one location for too long
- Use Tactical Insertion to spawn near objectives (CTF, Demolition, etc)
- Use a silencer if you're a flanker
- Riot Shield + Blast Shield works great for planters and HQ cappers
- Care Package rewards do not count towards your kill streak
- RPD w/ Silencer + Grip is a beast

When playing objective games as a flanker, Tactical Insertion+Scavenger is a must. Means you can set up spawns as you progress.
Rundown map example: I spawn near C with the team, move to the far bridge (the one that has steps leading up to the half of hte map with A in it), Dump a TI behind the steps leading up. Kill someone (hopefully), gain another TI, which i can place on the balcony of the Villa behind A. If i die, i don't start way back with my team, i start fairly close to being behind enemy lines.

People who use anyother perks besides scavenger stopping power and steady aim in a public non hardcore match are kooky

If you think about all the other peerks are useless.

Scavenger, you can refil claymores nades ect.

Stopping power is the only good red perk, and plus you can drop people in 2 shots.

Steady Aim is good because it gives you such a bigger edge when you are in close combat and you can just spray a guy instead of aiming.

Best Riot Shield Class EVER

Riot Shield
(Any Secondary, prefferably Machine Pistol w/ silencer)
Equipment: Any
Perk 1: Marathon Pro
Perk 2: Lightweight Pro
Perk 3: Ninja Pro

Very Happy

They'll never hear ya coming Very Happy

ALso, tip: If using the Riot Shield, just crouch, and maybe walk slowly towards them, and when they reload, rush in and bash em Very Happy

Good for flanking, or just annoying people

ACR w/ Red Dot
AA-12 FMJ (Flank)
Semtex
Perk 1: Scavenger Pro
Perk 2: Hardline Pro
Perk 3: Steady Aim Pro

Some tips off the top of my head:
Reload after every kill.(except when theres someone right in front of you)
Your secondary is your friend. Switch when you have to.
Don't use a sniper for cqb. you'll make snipers look bad.
Make knifing a reflex. It'll save you one day.
Remember your special grenades. they can be useful.
Sometimes, accuracy by volume is necessary.
Save your killstreaks for when you need them.
LMG without a Grip=FAIL.
Scrambler only makes things worse.
When using a Riot Shield, ALWAYS have your back to something.

Remember these things and you can run and gun all day! battle

My flanking/spawn camping class. Be wary, I only use this on Hardcore because I hate playing on Normal.

Mini-Uzi with Rapid Fire
Javelin or Thumper

Marathon Pro (For Getting Into Position Easily)
Cold-Blooded Pro (Self explanatory)
Ninja Pro(Self explanatory)
