Tips on Throwing Knifes??

Ok im not the best at throwing knifes but i want to get better at using them. Like i want to be able to increase my accuracy while throwing them and how to use them wisely and effectively.

if someone could give me and everyone tips on how to throw them and what gun & perks to use with them.

Aim for the chest while throwing. Lead the target by about half inch for a running kill or about an inch or so above the target for long throw. I got my 30 knife kill emblem with theese tips

As PieEyed said, always try to aim for the center mass.

The knife is thrown a bit faster than I always anticipate, so I need to work on how much I lead an enemy...but I'm getting there.

The main thing is practicing. It may be a bit frustrating at first, and your k/d may take a hit, but it's a ton of fun and will pay off once you're tossing game-winning knives across the map.

No problem guys. it just takes a lot of practice. I got mopped up for awhile cuz all I used was the throwing knife. Just stick with it and you to can make someone yell "FUCKING THROWING KNIFE!!!" too.

Scavenger perk helps replenish your ammo/stock. You can use this with the throwing knife because instead of stopping and holding X to pick your knife back up, you can sprint over the enemy, who you just killed with your knife, and it will automatically give you your knife back. So if you want to keep running without stopping, use this perk.

Next suggestion is Lightweight, which you can use to move faster to pick up your thrown knife or to evade an enemy that may see you and start shooting you.

Those are the two perks I would recommend, but it also just depends on your playing style. I think the best advice is just to practice like the others said above and play around with the perks to see what works for you.

What is up with throwing knives now...

I see them as a waste but they are a very cool item.. all i can say is aim high and get some friends in a private match and have a knife war.

My big problem is just hitting them when they are sprinting.
I need to get 5-6 freinds in a private match and practice with them

I would love to see a throwing knife montage in HC, as I am pretty sure the crosshair doesn't show up when aiming/throwing it

throwing knifes are a lot of fun in core, when you know how to use them, you can make a lot of people mad at you, lol
