Can’t get FMJ kills

I don’t get credit for FMJ kills with my ACR, SCAR, .50BMG or any weapon with FMJ attached. I have tried shooting through walls to get kills but still no points. So I can’t unlock the extended magazines. The only thing I can think of is when I got the FMJ for my ACR I quitted the game early but that was only on that weapon and no other.

Yeah FMJ kills takes alot of time and effort getting the Extended Mags.

You need to be on the right map with the right opponents.

Good Maps:
1: Terminal-Airplane=Easy FMJ kills
2: Favela-Lots of Roof buildings w/ thin walls
3: Skidrow-Lots of buildings and thing walls around them.

Bad Maps:
1: Wasteland-Not much buildings, no walls
2: Sub-Base-Lots of roofs w/ no buildings on them
3: Rust-Small map lots of people running around everywhere=lots of deaths

Hope this helped ive gotten Extended Mags for my M4A1 twice.

Like Kyled55 said above, certain maps are easier to get FMJ kills with than others.

Also, keep an eye out for people standing in windows and try to shoot around the actual window to hit them. In HQ, if they capture point is in a room, try shooting through the walls first if they aren't too thick.

Yeah or if your flanking then try to hide behind something and shoot thru something and try to set up an FMJ kill.

Although I'm not exactly sure how they coded FMJ to work completely... it does say to shoot through surfaces. Whether that be walls, doors, random boxes, plant sites, etc...I'm not certain on what isn't included as a surface.

And as for windows, I was saying, if they are standing in a window and you are outside. Simply shoot at an angle to hit them, shoot below the window seal and hit they legs, or wait until they move to the side and shoot through the wall. I don't know if shooting through glass counts as an FMJ kill, i would guess not..

Through any surface.

FMJ is the same thing as Deep Impact. The power of your bullet will carry through the surface, compared to a non-FMJ setup which will dramatically lose power depending on the thickness of the surface that you're shooting through and the angle at which the bullet enters and exits.

Play 3rd person. Its easier to get penetration kills because you can hide behind surfaces and angle shoot with FMJ on.

Yeah, it took me ages.

In the end, I just kept playing the game without thinking too much about it and the FMJ kiils slowly crept up.

in my opinion the TAR and the M4A1 with FMJ is very effective. especially the TAR. i had no problem getting those kills.

The easiest way to get kills is Hardcore HQ on Scrapyard. One game I managed half of the needed (20) FMJ kills from 50 kills I got overall. M4A1,RPD and intervention i've mastered so far.
