Probobly the most interesting title in the game. In order to get it you have to kill a person who has it on. SO how did this originally get into the game? Nobody yets nows but this is one STD i will be contracting Very Happy

That's pretty funny I was getting ready to post the same thing. But I'm trying to catch it. Not only do you have to be killed by the player with "Infected" callsign. It has to be a knife kill. Every time I see someone with it I try to get stabbed, but no go.

o ok, you have to be stabbed by someone who has it.....whoa that sounds kinda straaaange! LoL, I thought you just had to kill that person, thanks for clearing that up!

I got infected the other day... I wasn't sure what happened... Must have been stabbed by someone with it. It is an ugly little title though. Haven't used it yet.

The Titles "Infected" and "STD" originally started with the InfinityWard Staff. Once people started to play with them they would contract the title and then Spread it. I believe this is how you get the titles:

STD: Knife someone in the back showing the title.

Infection: Get knifed by someone showing the title.

That is correct, but for the STD title, you can stab them anywhere, not just the back

haha, I've been spreading the "infection" too. however, I enjoy the STD title more. I just wish I could pass it along the same way.

I've got Infected, but not STD.

I don't knife people very often since I use the tactical setting. I usually drop shot instinctively than knife, which can get me killed.
