What do I need to Rec. my matches from the PS3 to my P.C. for posting? I got a sweet headshot with a RPG and it just made me wonder.

Video capture card for your PC is the best way to do it. I have heard of people using their dvr boxes to do this as well though I am not incredibly familiar with that option.

Here is a post I found mentioning EasyCAPUSB 2.0. Looks like a pretty simple option for capturing video. You won't get HD quality but still seems like it would work.

I want to do this too someday. I don't mean to hijack your thread, but I don't want to make another thread about this either. Smile I hope you don't mind?

Here are my questions... what would I need to get to record matches from the xbox 360 onto a Gateway Laptop (I couldn't tell ya the specs for it though). And how much would it be and take to record in HD?

I think most of the cap cards that use USB will get you the standard def quality you are looking for. If you are looking to capture HD you would likely have to take it into get it upgraded (if you laptop will even allow it). If it is possible to upgrade you would likely spend enough money that it would be better to get a good HD DVR that will allow your Xbox/PS3 to play through it. I personally don't record but I have thought about it. Maybe I will make that my next little project to see if I can get something going with what I already have.

Make sure you see what is required for a cap card, there are also some cables you will need to buy, but there real cheap. Youtube a set up on a certain model your looking for.

If you want HD, you have several options.
the blitzbox, bad quality. i bought and sold it.
hauppage, great quality, records in HD
hava, good quality. records in SD, but you can play in HD
Blackmagic design. I use it, plays in HD, records in HD, and is internal.

all are upwards of $200
