Freezing Issue/Connection Problem!!NEED HELP

I keep on getting frozen in online XBL. I am using a bridged connection from a laptop. The whole connection setup was working with MW2 but now it doesn't. MW2 is the only game my xbox freezes on. Sometimes I can get out of the freeze and reenter the game. sometimes my xbox completly freezes and the only way to get out of this is to turn it off. Also when this happens I get disconnected from XBL party. This happens not in every game but most of them. Please Help Me!

I had this happen to me a lot of times. It is probably lag.

Not sure. Try installing the game to the HDD, see if that helps.

There's your problem. You should exit all programs that use the Interwebz on your Laptop. Then your connection should improve. If not, the problem may lie with your ISP.ynotserious wrote:I am using a bridged connection from a laptop.

Try contacting your ISP and see if there is a connect issue.

why should there be my isp works with my wii and any computer or iphone or ipodtouch. and it works for anything else on xbl. and at one point it worked

i don't have a broken game. Because after i installed the game on my hard drive it still froze

the reason i won't is because my isp customer service are assholes. there is no reason y the isp should block XBL for just my house. + my friend has the same isp and he can get into games fine

It can still be a problem with your Router, Modem, or Xbox yourself. But the Game is not the problem. It's not his ISP or his router or anything relating to his internet connection. this same exact problem happens to me all the time. I tried forwarding ports, bought a new game, and email my isp. The only way I can play this game online is either accepting an invite from my friends or joining sessions in progress. I've almost busted my controller because of MW2's ridiculous game servers/ matchmaking. It just 100% sucks for people like me and ynotserious.
