What makes a weapon 'N00by'?

Can I just ask, what is it that makes a weapon 'N00by' or however you spell it?? I see the term referrenced often on these and other forums and, to be completely honest, have never quite understood it (probably an age thing I guess Smile

).

Is it because it because that particular weapon is the most common?

good question...IMO a nooby weapon is a weapon who everyone can use for to get kills without any skill required, due to its power and whatever...

Yeah pretty much.

Also any weapon with a noob tube attached for running and tubing is nooby.

Dnt get me wrong if your tactically tubing then fair play, but whne you see people running arounf firing tubes at your feet it makes you wanna scream

Quit simply a gun that is very easy to use and like horrorman said it requires no skill. An example is the NOOBTUBE. That is just the grenade launcher but because its an explosive and can be shot with very little skill and yet get mass kills.

But doesn't it take skill to aim and kill a moving target? I think people are just making excuses when they get owned. "Tubin is noobish" "The scar-h is noobish" Geez!! Oh and my fav "Your a noob you camper" when someone is defending an objective. That's the point of objective games. All my tears are gone......Peace!

I agree it does take some skill (especially on HC) to aim and kill with a thumper/tube.
I think what were saying,its the people who run around with noob tube already ready and fire at your feet, knowing full well that thye explosion will kill anyone near it. THAT ISNT SKILL.

it only takes a little skill to use a thumper/tube in hardcore, coz all what you have to know is you have to face in the direction someone is coming and fire...you don´t have to hit em really...coz it´s hardcore

As it doesnt explode as easy at the noob tube. either way its a noob way of killing

That's almost every weapon on this game though. Plus I wouldn't really consider any gun on here nooby I would just say there a bit over powered, but you just got to learn to adapt to them.

I don't camp at all!! I was just bringing up the point that to score mad kills and win you need to have aiming skill, nothing about noob tubes & camping. I pick fools off from across the map with a scar & flank like there's no tomorrow.
