Tbh you should look at getting a easy cap, they are only £10-20 (including splitters ect) and have the same quality as a dazzle

I have a Dazzle DVC100 (White) myself and here's my quality .

I'm hoping to be able to get a HDPVR in the near future.. Playing in SD sucks.

so I'm starting to get really interested in the whole capture card thing. I have read some stuff on them but not a whole lot as of yet. most of what I've read though makes it sound like you have to play using your computer screen instead of your TV. is this true? and if so, is there any way around it? thanks in advance for the insight Smile

No, you play with your TV. I think you need to buy splitters.

if all you would have to get is splitters it wouldn't be that big of a deal. I have a friend who works at Best Buy and he gets crazy good discounts on cables and stuff like that.

It would blow the deal for me if I had to play in SD again. I would like to capture some of my game play, I think some of what I do would make pretty nice vids but playing in SD and actually taking the time to edit the vids would probably ruin it for me. Always been something interesting though.

zach get the HD PVR man... honestly, ur gunna get the dazzle, be happy for 5 months, then want HD... just get the HD PVR now, and you wont be sorry. you'll wind up spending less money in the long run.

Yes, that's the one I have. The only difference is your quality wouldn't be anything close to it Laughing .

The brightness seems to dark. Is that an added effect or just the default Capture Card Settings?

Are you asking me? If so I used Soft Contrast, Fill Light, Color Correction, Gaussian Blur and Sharpen in Sony Vegas Pro 9. The Soft Contrast is the reason it looks darker.
