I always play one or two missions in sp before jumpin to mp. Don't know why though. I guess you could say just to get a quick feel for the game?

I'm usually the same way, but I don't think I'm gonna be able to do that with this game. I voted multiplayer. Very Happy

I almost always go for the single player first to get a feel for the game. I like to get a look at what the multiplayer is based off of. I know I will totally get sucked into the multiplayer if i start with that. I dont want to ignore the story.

Singleplayer first just to get a feel for the game and see how kickass the story is. Then it is time to climb to the top of the leaderboards.

Gonna get the game early in the morning and then play through the entire single player campaign on the easiest difficulty. Then move on to multiplayer. After I've played multiplayer for a while I will eventually go back to single player and play it through more thoroughly to try and get 1000/1000 gs. I'll also throw some Spec Ops in there too.

Single Player when my friends aren't online. Probably the day it comes out, I'll play SP and then hit up a little MP. The next day, our school (the only one in the city that has this) has remembrance day off, so we'll be gaming MP all day long.

Oh, I had forgotten about that little point. Most MP maps are based off the campaign. I guess I can add that to the list of reasons why I'll be playing the campaign first. Very Happy

Singleplayer until my friends have the game and are online,then multiplayer.I don't expect to be able to keep up with the top players on the leaderboards,so it's not critical for me to be on multiplayer right away.Although I would like to get to the highest prestige as soon as possible.I can't wait for this game!I hope it breaks Halo 3's record of highest sales for a game.

Definitly single player first. I wanna climb a huge ice wall and snowmobile while firing an automatic pistol at other snowmobiles while there is a helicopter shooting at me, before I play MP. It's kind of a tradition I started on the first MW. I play one level, play 10 matches of MP... Play one level... play 30 matches of mp...

then 40.
