xbox live account hacking

has anyone had a problem with your accounts geting hacked?? mine got hacked at the end of june and i STILL dont have it back cause microsoft doesnt know how to have successful support help... other people said it only took like 2-3 weeks and mine has taken about 9 weeks!! obsurd! Evil or Very Mad

yeah, it was retarded.. all they have to get is the email linked to your account and BAM, its over. if it for some reason takes 40 more days to fix it then im gonna bomb microsoft.. haha jk jk hyper

They have to get your password along with the email addy for them to steal your account. Sounds like you just got phished. I'm not saying it's impossible to actually hack an account, but really, who would take the time to actually do it. Being M$, I'm sure they have some pretty solid countermeasures against hackers.

yes it happened to me as well! i was told there was nothing they could do about it so i just made another and started over.

yes it happened to me as well! i was told there was nothing they could do about it so i just made another and started over.

i got mine back like a week or 2 ago. they said to took longer than they thought because right when they tried to give me the info on to get it back, the hacker somehow changed to info again so i couldnt recover it. idk how he again changed my info WHILE microsoft had control of my account.

I have had my account hacked, luckily the genious person that took it forgot to change the email it was linked to. I requested a password change with it, changed the password on both my LIVE account and my email address as well as any other accounts I had (just to be safe), haven't had a problem since. I had only given the email and password for that account to 2 people that I know for a fact weren't the ones who did it (I actually know the person who did, just no real proof) and I know they didn't give it to anyone.

I was playing Skate 2 once, and I got signed out of live, and an EA nation message came up like "you have been signed out of your account because it has been accessed on another console" and I shat bricks.

Luckily, I went to the dashboard and quickly changed all of my passwords and nothing has happened since.

yepps, right after mine said my information was wrong i went onto my email cause i have a few accounts linked and it had 4 charges of 5000 ms points!! i quickly called micosoft and they told me they actually already froze my account. they are good.. no charges went through either. clapsss

i was pretty happy about that, i just took them a retardedly long time to get it back to me. lol
