you must know what im talking about, someone on your team has a stupid really long name + a clan tag and the green writing goes just where you think an enemy is. the enemy is really far away so its hard enough as it is but then you get writing all over where they are. so if you spray towards him, the guy will see you and shoot you, or you wait for your team mate to move and by that time the enemy sees you and shoots you. they should make an option like WaW where you can shorten down the names or they should just abbreviate people names if they are over a certain amount of characters

exactly and image if a player is somewhere behind the 1s8fs but you cant see them, and your using iron sights so its really hard to see that far

i have to agree with you...sometimes it´s quiet difficult to spot an enemy when a few team mates are between you and them. Especially on Skidrow in the little passage between the building.

I've seen names with XBOX 360 BUTTONS! It was like LBRBLBRBLBRBLBLRB

And it was the images!

I saw one like that too! It was an obcene name and then the word baby in xbox buttons. So i tried to report him but he didnt show up on my recent players list. Weird. There were glitch names on WAW too so I assume there might be a patch for it eventually.

for those people with those names they'll come up on the recent players list as their ACTUAL gamertags. the only way to actually report them is if you're in a game and can switch to them so that you're following their cam and then press the profile button. had the same problems on CoD4 several times. I just saw my first one on MW2 today. I just quit the game right away because I don't want to deal with those kinds of people.

yeah, I'm not exactly sure how they do it. I just know it's some kind of glitch/hack. I've also had one of those people spam bomb me with invites before... literally got 70 of them and I blocked communications after I received the first 5. they just kept coming though for the next like 10-15 minutes. it was ridiculous. I've heard of that kind of thing before but had never had it happen to me until then.

yeah you have to go on the in-game scoreboard and hit the button(normally Y or A) to view gamertag. then file complaint from there
