Would you care if MW2 didnt have leaderboards??

I really wouldnt mind seeing MW2 leaderboards go because of the hackers that ruin the game for all of the people who play the game fair and respect the game.

Dont get me wrong tho i do enjoy looking up my friends & mine stats on the leaderboards. I like to see if a new friend i added has alot of wins/kills etc. I also keep track of my K/D ratio a little bit but dont freak out if it gets too bad. I just want to see it at about 1.60+ which is where its at now so im happy with that.

Let me know how you guys think about the leaderboards and if you think they should stay or go??

The personal & friends stat checking is fine but I honestly miss the way WaW presented it. Lots of fun post lobby moments and thrash talking lol Twisted Evil

As far as the leaderboards here, its not special but since I like to see my own I rather keep it. I really don't pay mind to the hacked crap anyway...

The only stats I care about are my own. I don't care who #1 in the world is. In all honesty sometimes I think the game would be a little better if everyone stopped caring about their stats lol

yeah i agree 100% with your statement Bowski, i really only pay attention to mine and my close friends and families stats. Thats it i dont care about everyone elses stats like you said.

I like stats. I actually wish they had more of them in MW2. At the VERY LEAST, I would like to see the amount of stat tracking that WaW had. Lobby Leaderboards, Online Stat Tracking, Separate K/D Ratio for each mode of play, etc.

The online part is essential if I'm expected to play this game over the course of an entire year. In WaW, I started focusing on getting X amount of kills with each weapon to keep things spiced up in multiplayer. The fact that this is not a part of MW2 is a huge FAIL on the part of IW. It edges on complete laziness.

Yeah i did like the amount and depth that WaW had in its post-game stats that they had after every game like how many UAV's or dogs etc...

I dont think that IW CANT do this its just the fact that they most likely WONT add this very popular feature in online play which is played by millions of people around the world every day.

Leader boards is what keeps this game competitive Wink

. They need to be a stats system on their website like Waw has. Being able to check how many kills you get with your weapons, checking your last played games, and etc... is nice.

TBH i like the stats but only to compare against friends. The top 100 or so is bulls**t anyway its Cheats at the top. At the monent the top player on the PSN has played 12537 days gameplay, i mean WTF??? this guy must be a time traveller or something, and he also got about 1000 Billion kills, oh yeah and he's Level 1, 0 Prestige. I think IW should wipe these off the leaderboards.

I hate hackers they need to go not the leaderboards, if you cant get the score you deserve and be happy then dont play the game (same with campers and glitchers)

Personally the only leaderboard i look at is my friends one. I couldn't care less that some terminally depressed, delicate ego-ed turd thinks he's awesome because he has the highest accuracy.
Having said that, i'm still in the top 500 or so for kills on XBL, without cheating or glitching... but all this really means is i've played it more than most :S

I like the leaderboards. To find out what your are fairly subtract 1000. And if you want to see how you rank for all the people who got the game early subtract 3000. Bu we shouldent have to deal with that.

Saying 'subtract 1000' is totally arbitrary without saying WHAT you're subtracting from... since we're talking leaderboards, it could be -1k score, -1k xp, -1k Kills...

While I really don't care about my stats, leaderboards DO make things competitive. Unfortunately, it's human nature to be at the top and some people will do anything to be there. All in all, I wouldn't care if they removed the Leaderboards, but still being able to check your own stats would be nice.
